Cheyenne Mountain Branch
The Friends are extremely fortunate to have dedicated volunteers that routinely help with the book stores and events. The Cheyenne Mountain branch recently had one of their volunteers, Stephanie B., go above and beyond to make sure valuable documents made it into the right set of hands.
While going through donations, Stephanie came across old legal documents for Warren County in Ohio. And by "old", we are talking 1821-1822. Believing documents this old may be of value to someone there, she began a hunt to see where they should be returned to. On April 5th, the documents were donated to the Warren County Historical Society. They were very grateful for the donation. Stephanie, thank you for not only caring about our local branches treasures - but other county's as well.
